Sometimes patience pays off, at least that is what I try to tell myself when I'm waiting. I was able to sell my old dining table on Craig's List, and purchased a new dining table from World Market that I had been eyeing for a while. This was back in September, and the dining room was chair less since then, until two weeks ago. Again, Craig's List to the rescue. I spotted these chairs, and immediately contacted the seller. Turns out, the chairs were in a game room, barely used, and I was able to get them for a steal. The chairs came from Pier One. I had also been wanting to do a stencil on the wall the mirror was on, as it was rather plain, well, new chairs motivated me to go ahead, and so this past weekend, was stenciling time.

Dining Room Re-do, and Stenciled Wall

Christmas Around the House
I could not wait for Thanksgiving to be over in order to start decorating for Christmas. This is the time of year that I can add warmth without trying too hard. I tried not over doing it this year, and kept the decor a little rustic, with a lot a natural touches. First thing I did, was decorate the mantel. I had fun with this one, and I got to use the stained board I did a few months ago. The red and green on the wreath makes the wood color seem darker.
