White Chocolate Kettle Corn
ingredients:
1 bag of store bought kettle corn
1 bar of white chocolate
food coloring of your choice
1 gallon sized ziploc bag
For this recipe, I only used half the bag of kettle corn. I simply put it in the ziploc bag, and waited for the chocolate. I first started by breaking the chocolate bar into pieces, and placing it in a microwave safe bowl, and melt it, just make sure you don't over melt, as this chocolate does not taste good once burned. Once melted, add food coloring and stir, this is not a very important ingredient, but one that is fun for the kiddos. Add chocolate mixture to the kettle corn inside the ziploc bag. Seal the bag, and shake, I also simply moved the popcorn around a little from the outside of the bag. I then transferred to a popcorn bowl, put it in the fridge for a minute, to cool off the chocolate, and served to the kids (and myself of course) Just keep in mind, you may want to make this when you have other people around, because they are so delicious, you may want to eat it all by your self...just saying.
Sorry for the bad pictures, it is just that this bowl did not make it out of the kitchen, where the lighting is not so very nice for picture taking. Also, I apparently did not add enough food coloring to the white chocolate...oops!
I will probably add a few more recipe's in the future, I have a major sweet tooth, and I think it is only fair to share..right?
Hope you have a great weekend!
