I have finally finished the wall in my family room that had sat empty for so long before, and I have to say, I really like how it turned out. I have a love with Entomology prints, ever since I spotted some in the Ballard Designs magazine, but they are sooo expensive, so I had tried looking for some prints that I could frame on Etsy, but they just did not stand out, or were the wrong price. I recently discovered Jeniffer's blog, and she made the most amazing entomology gallery wall that I have seen. She managed to make a whole wall of gallery, with pictures from this amazing book. I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to purchase it at Amazon, and saw the price...I was in heaven.
I quickly order it, and the next day I headed to my local Ikea to purchase some Ribba frames. When I received the book, I was pleasantly surprised to see the great images, it's a big book, so I had my choices, and it was hard, because they are all so beautiful. Tearing the pages was hard as well, I felt I was ruining the book, but I followed Jeniffer's advice, cut it with a xacto knife, after I used a page cutter to make the cuts cleaner, and that was it.
I added a few fun accessories:
| Bird cage came from Hobby Lobby, at 50% off. I made the moss balls with styrofoam balls, and a sheet of moss, also from Hobby Lobby. |
| Sign from Hobby Lobby, 50% off. |

| Letter from JoAnn's, I painted it a gold metallic color. |
| Here is the book where the prints came from.
Have a great week!
