Fall Decorations Around the House

I don't know about you guys, but I am so ready for fall to arrive.  I really thought we had gotten rid of the triple digit temperatures until next year, but apparently, in Texas, anything goes, and the crazy hot temperatures are back, along with all the great mosquitoes.  I was ready for all that fall brings, the scents, the colors, the cheeriness, the decor.  Since I can't really make fall come soon enough, I decided I needed to start from the inside, my home.

My daughter loves it when I start to decorate for fall, she knows what comes next, and it's just too exciting for her.  Everyday, she comes home from school, and asks me what other decorations I have unpacked, she really is hoping for Halloween decorations, but I think that may just be pushing it a little bit for me, those will have to wait till October.

This year I decided to streamline my decor, I find I am doing that every year with every holiday, click here to see last years.  Here are some pictures of the fall decorations around the house for this year:

So, as you can tell, my decorations are a little on the kiddy side, but my kids love them, and there is only so much time left before they could care less, and really, isn't this season all about them anyways?

Hope you all have a great week, and hope you are having better weather than we are here.
