I have been slowly working on a little project, and with it being end of the school year, and with all the activities that go along with it, it seems to be taking me a lot longer than I anticipated, so in the meantime, I wanted to share with you our game room. You truly get spoiled when it comes to house sizes in Texas, and newer homes not only have a game room, but a media room as well..spoiled!!! My house was built in 2002, and it is one of the smaller models in the neighborhood...that's now saying much, being that this house would be considered big back in Florida. The game room is located upstairs, next to my kids bedrooms, which works perfectly, because some times, the first thing they want to do when they get up, is start playing with all of their toys or game consoles.

Master Bedroom - Final Touch
Ok, I promise this will probably be the last post on my master bedroom redo for a while, I just had a few details left that I wanted to share, before I move on to my next project, which, by the way, is a headache and a half...I will be posting about it soon. So, my sweet husband got me the mirrored nightstands that I had been eyeing for our anniversary...and I love them....he..not so much. Apparently, he does not consider them nightstands..bahh....I say, it does not matter, they are too pretty to complain. I also added a chair and ottoman from Ikea (Ektorp), because I love to have a reading nook in every bedroom, and was in need of it badly in mine. I love this spot, and has become the spot to catch up on blogs. So here are some pictures of how my master bedroom looks now:

The Headboard Reveal
Wow, I am beyond excited on all the positive feedback on my master bedroom makeover. It was even featured on Debbie's wonderful new series Newbie Spotlight of the Week, so really, a HUGE thank you to all of you for your sweet comments (and of course, to the wonderful Debbie for the feature).
I finally got my room cleaned up enough to show all of you the headboard. I was inspired by Jennifer's blog on the headboard as well, and tried looking for the one she has, in white, but everywhere I went (and I mean online) they had every color BUT white! I almost got the pearl color from Hayneedle, but after reading the reviews, people commented that it really was more of an ivory than a white. Then, Joss and Main had an awesome sale on that headboard, but in parchment..arrg..very frustrating. Eventually though, I found some at Amazon, but after looking at all of the tufted headboards, I decided on this style instead, and it was in white (finally).
So here is the headboard in all it's glory:

A Little Shopping and a Giveaway
I was introduced by a friend to this store, I always drove by it, but it looked like a warehouse, so I never gave it much thought. Well, let me tell you, it is not a warehouse, but a mercantile, full of antiques, clothes, collectibles and so much more:

Last Time I showed you my dining room, it was around christmas time, and it was decorated for that time of year. Right after the holidays, I switched things, and this is how it currently looks now:
