A Stump of a Problem

We recently removed a tree from our backyard (sniff), there was nothing wrong with it, I actually loved the shade it provided, but our backyard is super small, and the tree was right smack in the middle of it, and with two kids who love to play in the backyard, it was just simply in the way.  I asked the guy who cut it for us to leave behind a small stump, he gave a look like I was nuts, but left it anyways.

Hi everyone, hope your final days of summer are going well.  We are officially on our last week of summer break, and have been busy getting ready for the school year.  It seems like everyone in my house is ready for school but me, I am having a hard time letting go.  

I wanted to share with all of you a recipe that I got off a magazine a few years ago, and have made ever since.    This is my go to appetizer dish that I always have when we have friends or family over, and it's always a big hit.
